CRITICAL THINKING

What is critical thinking at the Global Madrasah?

We don't do rote learning.
We teach how to use sacred knowledge to respond to criticism about Islam at the level our children face at school, university and in the work place.

Why is Critical Thinking so important?

Those moments when our children are alone in this world, and facing an intellectual challenge online or in person, that anything less than a self assured and robust response, would cause harm to their faith left unanswered.

Maybe it’s not noticeable at first, maybe your son doesn’t want to pray or wearing traditional Islamic clothing on occasion frustrates them, maybe your daughter displays anxiety at the idea of Hijab, maybe they’re not keen in prayer. Many of these negative associations are linked to intellectual gaps in the thinking of our children. Be very sure of the fact that the society around them, the media and the institutions in the West are waiting with baited breath, to ravenously exploit that gap or fill it with doubts.

Dear parent, this is when you need to convince your child of Islam.

Your child needs validation, someone to talk to- who isn't their parent.

This is the need of our time
